How cooking works
Camp pots in Alabaster Dawn produce timed dishes. Each dish slots into a buff category — HP, stamina, Divine Art — and the buff is consumed on use, not over time.
Recommended cooking by content
| Situation | Cook | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Boss attempt | Hearty / HP-leaning dishes | Flat HP cushion forgives a misread. |
| Trial of Aether grind | Stamina-regen dishes | More dodge windows per room. |
| Caster build | Divine Art recovery dishes | Caster damage scales with Art uptime. |
| Open-world exploration | Stack-friendly mixed buffs | You’ll burn through 2–3 random encounters per zone. |
Cooking tips
- Always cook before walking into an arena trigger — the cooldown is generous.
- Camp pots refill Divine Art charges on use, in addition to giving the dish.
- Specific recipes will be patched in over Early Access; current dish names are placeholders in the community wiki.
FAQ
Are exact recipe names known?
Some are; some are placeholders. Radical Fish is still iterating on cooking content during Early Access. We’ll update this page when patch notes confirm names.
Is cooking required?
Not strictly — but uncooked attempts at bosses meaningfully lengthen runs.
