Alabaster Dawn Early Access build 0.1.0 ships about a dozen+ hours of content on top of the already long Steam Next Fest demo. More chapters are scheduled per Radical Fish’s patch cadence.

Short answer

About a dozen+ hours in the current Early Access build (0.1.0), on top of the already-long Next Fest demo. More chapters are scheduled per Radical Fish’s public patch cadence — that number will grow.

Where the time goes

  • Prologue — 2–3 hours through to the Inferna Vespa fight.
  • Chapter 1 — 4–6 hours, including the first Trial of Aether sequence.
  • Optional Trial rooms — 2–4 hours of side puzzles for completionists.
  • NG+ / boss re-runs — additional time depending on cosmetic and material grind.

Will it grow?

Radical Fish ran CrossCode through the same Early Access model — content shipped in steady patches with community input. Expect the same here. The Steam page explicitly says they plan to raise the price as content lands, which is a reliable signal of planned scope.

FAQ

Is the Early Access version short?
No. The demo alone is unusually long for an EA. The 0.1.0 paid build extends well beyond it.
Does NG+ exist?
Endgame replay loops are present for material grinding. A formal NG+ structure will solidify as later chapters land.
